Random pics - August 2008

The wine festival this year was an unusually pleasant experience. For one, I wasn't alot less drunk than last time, and secondly my wine palate has become much more discerning over the last 2 years. This time I could honesty pick out some favourites that will definitely result in a visit to the wine farm one day... Also, the company was good and I bought some divine chilli chocolate ;-)








We also had a polish friend visit us for the Wynfees weekend - his first visit to Stellenbosch! Shame, I think Namgirl & I tired him and Andytime out - leaving Springbok at 4am two nights in a row is considered a heavy weekend for even the most seasoned of Stellies party-bunnies!

Futher, Jus & I have adopted an orphan, and one who has taken remarkably little time to make herself at home. Mei-Mei (apparently Taiwanese for "little girl") has made herself comfortable on the couch, in the kitchen & on the bed. Her favourite place to sleep is Justin's chest and her favourite toy is a ball of tinfoil.
